About Sharon Runde – Owner and Founder of Sugar Science
Sharon Runde has grown up baking her entire life. She is a 4th generation baker, learning from her Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and Mother. Each generation specialized in their own favorite desserts and treats, and Sharon spent her childhood learning from her maternal mentors. Later, Sharon spent her career at The Naval Postgraduate School as a Faculty Associate for Research conducting scientific research for the military. She has blended her passion for scientific research and her childhood love of baking to create unique, custom creations for her community.
Sugar Science is known for its handcrafted, science-backed baking and custom creations for private, corporate, and special events throughout the Monterey Peninsula.Space is limited and advance registration is required.
